With a name that acknowledges its former use as a cattle barn the Shippon is a lovely light and airy cottage. Similar to the Bull House in layout but with smaller rooms.
Downstairs comprises:-
Lounge and kitchen/dining areas.
Upstairs comprises:-
A double bedroom has a "baroque"kingsize four poster bed, ensuite shower room and views out over the foldyard. There is an unusual glazed atrium which brings warmth and sunlight into the whole cottage.
The twin bedroom is suitable for 2 adults or children using the twin beds, but becomes rather cramped if the travel cot is in use.The twin bedroom ensuite has a shower over the bath.
By using only one ensuite bedroom, a couple can rent the Shippon at a reduced 2 person rate (off season only).
