South Devon is an excellent destination for a walking holiday.

South Devon offers a rich variety of landscapes, from dramatic coastal cliffs and sandy beaches to rugged moorland in Dartmoor.

The South West Coast Path, one of the longest hiking trails in the UK, stretches along much of the South Devon coastline. It offers breathtaking views of the sea, cliffs, and coastal villages, with excellent places to stop along the way to sample our delicious local food from land and sea.

Dartmoor, an easy day trip from Beeson Farm,  is a vast and wild landscape characterized by granite tors, open moorland, and wooded valleys. It provides endless opportunities for walking, with trails ranging from easy strolls to challenging hikes.

Both the South Devon coast and Dartmoor are rich in history, with ancient ruins, medieval castles, and prehistoric monuments scattered throughout the region.

Walking offers an ideal opportunity to stop and admire our diverse range of wildlife, including seabirds dolphins and seals along the coast and ponies, sheep, and other animals roaming freely on Dartmoor.
